NE-AR

NE-AR is a bridge-building initiative between the Netherlands and the Arab world. As part of NE-AR, Studio Mieke Meijer has participated in seven design events in the Middle-East like Beirut Design Week (LBN), Dubai Design Days (UAE), Amman Design Week (JOR), Saudi Design Week (SAU) and Dubai Design Week (UAE).  By exhibiting design projects, doing presentations and giving workshops, we share our design experiences with the local (design) community.

Since 2012, NE-AR has been initiating a network of like-minded designers by facilitating exhibitions, lectures and workshops. As an intermediary between the Netherlands and the Arab world, NE-AR empowers people and organisations to work across cultures and to learn from each other’s perspectives and experiences. NE-AR offers workshop programs on various topics.
